What it is
Small, precisely placed amounts used to relax the muscles that fold the skin into lines — typically across the forehead, between the brows and at the outer eyes. Done well it reads as looking rested, not as having had something done.
What people choose it for
- Lines across the forehead and between the brows
- Crow’s feet that have stopped smoothing out
- Looking permanently tired or cross
- Softening lines before they set in
What to expect
- 01
Watch your face move
We ask you to frown, lift and smile, and map exactly where your lines come from. This part matters more than the treatment itself.
- 02
Quick and fine
A handful of very fine placements. It takes a few minutes and most people find it far easier than they expected.
- 03
Two-week review
Results appear from day three and settle by day fourteen. You come back at two weeks so we can look together and adjust if needed.
Good to know
Questions people actually ask
Will I still be able to make expressions?
Yes — that is the whole point of treating lightly. We would far rather you came back for a little more than felt frozen for three months.
How long does it last?
Three to four months to begin with. It often stretches a little further once you have had a few.
How soon does it work?
You will notice something around day three, and the final result at two weeks. That is when we review it.
Is the two-week review extra?
No. It is part of the treatment and it is booked before you leave.
Suitability, aftercare and the honest bits
Small bruises at the placement sites are possible. Stay upright and skip the gym for the rest of the day, and leave the area alone. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with certain neuromuscular conditions — this is covered properly at consultation before anything is booked.
Everything here is covered properly at your consultation, and you can ask us anything at any point before you book.
