Lip enhancement
Lips that look like yours on a very good day. We work in small amounts towards balance and a better edge, and we would always rather do less and see you again.

What it is
A careful placement of hyaluronic acid to improve shape, definition and symmetry. The aim is a lip that suits your face — softer edges, a little more shape where it has been lost — rather than a lip that announces itself.
What people choose it for
- Lips that have thinned over time
- One side sitting differently from the other
- A border that has softened and lost its edge
- Lipstick that will not stay where it is put
What to expect
- 01
Agree the look
We talk about what you like and what you absolutely do not, in a mirror, before anything is decided. Numbing cream goes on afterwards.
- 02
Small and slow
Placed in small amounts, checking balance as we go. It takes around twenty minutes and is comfortable throughout.
- 03
Swelling, then settling
Lips swell for a day or two — this is normal and not the result. The true shape appears at around two weeks.
Good to know
Questions people actually ask
Will it be obvious?
Not the way we do it. We work conservatively and stop early, and we are perfectly happy for you to come back for a little more once it has settled.
How swollen will I be?
Noticeably, for the first forty-eight hours. Plan it away from anything photographed, and judge the result at two weeks rather than two days.
How long does it last?
Six to nine months for most people. Lips are a mobile area, so they soften a little faster than other places.
Can it be reversed?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved if you are ever unhappy, which is one of the reasons we use it.
Suitability, aftercare and the honest bits
Expect swelling for forty-eight hours and the possibility of bruising for a few days. Avoid the gym, alcohol and very hot drinks for the first day. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you get cold sores, tell us — treatment in this area can trigger one and we would rather plan for it than be surprised.
Everything here is covered properly at your consultation, and you can ask us anything at any point before you book.
